Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TypingFastest website at typingfastest.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

TypingFastest is a free online platform that provides:

  • Typing speed tests to measure your WPM and accuracy
  • Real-time multiplayer typing races
  • A virtual car collection system with in-app currency (coins)
  • Global leaderboards
  • Typing tips and educational blog content
  • Progress tracking for registered users

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access features such as multiplayer racing, leaderboards, and persistent progress tracking, you may sign in using your Google account through Firebase Authentication.

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools (bots, scripts, macros) to manipulate typing test results, race outcomes, or leaderboard rankings
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit any malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service using automated means without our written permission

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service.

5. Virtual Items & In-App Currency

The Service may include virtual items such as cars, coins, and other digital goods. These virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or real currency. Virtual items are granted under a limited, non-transferable license and may be modified, removed, or reset at any time at our discretion. You do not own any virtual items — you are granted a limited right to use them within the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of TypingFastest or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Service without our prior written consent, except as follows: your browser may temporarily store copies of materials in RAM and your computer may store files that are automatically cached for display purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TYPINGFASTEST, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
